The Monsters and Dungeons of G20 can be cruel indeed...
The evening began so well with the clearing of L8 Tomb of Gloom before moving onto the nearby Crypt of Sundonak where the disasters started to hit. First with the death of Peasant Bloodbait against 3 Dark Dragons forcing a hasty retreat back to Rityrrh (2) for Baldors Resurrection luckily before any stat decay set in. Red Myst then returned to the Dungeon but again encountered tough Dragons causing trouble. Our ancient Elven Knight Drom Greenblade was swallowed whole. Painful loss though did recover his +9 plate mail, helm and great sword so at least the fresh recruit will get a solid start.

During our travels, we came across three Dragons(9352).
As we drew closer to them, we counted their numbers. There were three Dragons. (3
Dark Dragons). They did not appear to be injured.
We let out a shout, "Death and Glory!".
Holding his long bow, Bloodbait fired, hitting the vile Dark Dragon, lodging in
its scales. Hawkeye's long bow sang, the arrow striking the malignant Dark Dragon,
entering the flesh between its scales.
Dhostic Dragonhorn cast spell Choking Gas.
Phantoms of enchantment moved amongst the shadows. These beings feeding on the
flashes of magic.
There was no thoughts of retreat now.
Krux Bloodshield's spear stabbed the malevolent Dark Dragon, the point finding
flesh. The malignant Dark Dragon viciously bit Thraznoll Spellfire. Thraznoll
Spellfire grasped the cut. The malevolent Dark Dragon bit Koznor Magmamaul, making
merely a scratch. A minor magical blast from the malevolent Dark Dragon struck Flint
Holyhelm. The vile Dark Dragon's claws hacked Thundos Steelmaul. Thundos Steelmaul
staggered backwards. Crying "For glory and death!" while swinging his mace, Koznor
Magmamaul bashed the malignant Dark Dragon's scales, driving them into its flesh.
The malignant Dark Dragon gouged Bloodbait in the leg. The vile Dark Dragon
viciously bit Hawkeye in the stomach. The malignant Dark Dragon's slashes raked Krux
Bloodshield, forcing a grunt of pain. The vile Dark Dragon's deadly talons struck
Drom Greenblade. Drom Greenblade staggered backwards. The malignant Dark Dragon

thrust, striking the malevolent Dark Dragon. It writhed in sudden agony. The
chitinous beast's wing was impaled by the attack. Suddenly the malevolent Dark
Dragon reeled back in agony as it was ripped from the body. The creature collapsed
and died, shaking the earth with its fall.
'Who's next,' was taunted over the corpse of the first enemy dead.
The malignant Dark Dragon attacked Dhostic Dragonhorn, slicing the arm from
shoulder to elbow. Koznor Magmamaul grinned maniacally, striking the malignant Dark
Dragon, weakening its armour plated hide. Vex Wyrmblade hacked, striking the vile
Dark Dragon. It watched helplessly as scales were shorn off. The vile Dark Dragon
butchered Bloodbait by biting his arms off, then the legs. All that was left was a
bloody torso.
Lying in a pool of scarlet blood the hero was forgotten.

Wyrmblade fought through the pain. Thundos Steelmaul hammered the vile Dark Dragon,

scarred Storm Dragon, entering the flesh between its scales.

The atmosphere was filled with a phantom menace.
The insanity of the battle took hold.
Krux Bloodshield's spear struck Cortilus the Storm Dragon. It glanced at where
the point had pierced it, but was largely unconcerned. Dhostic Dragonhorn examined
the chamber. He set off towards the foe with grim intent. The dark Storm Dragon
swung its tail, striking Jal Thornblade. Jal Thornblade was thumped good and proper.
Cortilus the Storm Dragon's tail hammered Bloodbait in the leg. The dark Storm
Dragon's slavering jaws skewered Granite Holyhart. Granite Holyhart was lightly hurt.
The battle scarred Storm Dragon ate Drom Greenblade whole. He is gone forever.

at all the party. Slate Blokhelm feinted a few times then struck Cortilus the Storm
Dragon, leaving a light wound. The battle scarred Storm Dragon's slavering jaws
stabbed Flint Holyhelm, leaving an angry bruise. Cortilus the Storm Dragon's bite
was forced through ineffective defence, striking Slate Blokhelm, blood welling from
the wound. The dark Storm Dragon hammered its prodigious tail into Hawkeye across
the ribs. Cortilus the Storm Dragon slashed Thundos Steelmaul. Thundos Steelmaul was
lightly hurt.
Threats of brutality were thick in the air as the fighters clashed. The dark
Storm Dragon's blows sliced Durizmet Runemaul. Durizmet Runemaul was lightly hurt.
Thundos Steelmaul feinted a few times then struck the dark Storm Dragon, shattering
scales . Jal Thornblade hacked, striking the dark Storm Dragon, nearly butchering it.
Always seeking an opening for his great sword, Vex Wyrmblade thrust a few times,
piercing the dark Storm Dragon. It howled in agony, thrashing about in a pool of
blood. The armour plated creature staggered under the impact of the blade. The blow
bit deep into the leg of the dark Storm Dragon striking it from its body. Blood
poured from the creature and lapped against feet.
'And die you Bastard,' was screamed with the defeat of the enemy.
Thundos Steelmaul hammered downwards, bashing Cortilus the Storm Dragon, to the
sound of crunching bone. Hefting his mace, Durizmet Runemaul feinted a few times
then struck Cortilus the Storm Dragon. It was nearly killed in the onslaught. The
chitinous creature writhed as the weapon hammered through the rib cage of Cortilus
the Storm Dragon, breaking ribs and smashing the spine. The damage was such that the
creature finally keeled over dead.
With victory inching closer the heroes screamed insults.
The battle scarred Storm Dragon gouged Dhostic Dragonhorn. Dhostic Dragonhorn
fought through the pain. The battle scarred Storm Dragon's bite struck Thraznoll
Spellfire. Thraznoll Spellfire grasped the cut.
The warriors still had enough breath to invent an insulting oath in combat.
Hawkeye the halfblood checked the cavern. He warily set off towards the foe. Crying

then hammered the battle scarred Storm Dragon, smashing bones. The thick plated skin
tore as the flat face of the weapon hammered the leg of the battle scarred Storm
Dragon. The foot hung uselessly from the body. The dying beast fell to earth tearing
great rents in the ground.
The enemy was dead. We got 22100 gold from the lair of the dead Dragons. We
