Hi,

I'm Rob from the UK. I'm new to PBM. Have known about it since the 80's but only just investigating what it's all about ! (I know, very late to the party !). I have an RPG background, but not played for years.

Have started simple and signed up to Heroic Fantasy via rickloomispbm.com . Waiting for my start turn to come in the post. I would rather play through the actual mail as I want the full old-school experience and it feels more exciting that way.

I'm looking into other systems to join in on over time. Weighing up between a few right now, including DungeonWorld and En Garde! I think I'm more into the RPG elements of gaming where you are controlling a single character, so I'm looking out for those types of systems at the moment.

I'll post more of my experiences (as a newbie) as I go.

I hope that you will return often - and I suspect that you will, because I've seen you around a good bit. of late.
