Yesterday, I had a productive day, insofar as I managed to get both an article written about Galac-Tac and a Player Blurb written for Galaxy #223.

This particular article is a Player Log. Basically, my idea of a player log is that as the game progresses, I will share my experiences with PBM Chaos readers -both the in-game part as it relates to player interactions and player activities, as well as my experiences with GTac and the Talisman Games website. When a player tries and plays a PBM game, no matter what the particular PBM game is, the experiences that they have include both the in-game part and other parts that impact their overall experience playing whatever game is in question. It's not just one or the other.

What are the stumbling blocks to a smooth gaming experience? Are they in the software or the website? Are they located in the rulebook or some player guide? KJC Games, for example, has encountered problems with players that use gmail. That's a good example of how things that aren't technically a part of a PBM game, and which in fact are external to a PBM company, can directly impact a PBM gamer's personal, first-hand experiences with making a go at giving a PBM game a try.

As a special bonus to you for dropping by the PBM Forum, here's a small screenshot of the beginning of that forthcoming article. This article will appear in Issue #45 of PBM Chaos, which is scheduled to publish on September 15th, 2025 - just four short days from now.
