The warrior fanatics known as the Genar first appeared on the Galactic scene during the Transdimensional War, where their aid was instrumental in defeating the forces of the Shadow Lords and the DarkOne, Soulripper. The Warriors of the Light Eternal are among the most dangerous warrior/mystics in the Galaxy, their absolute devotion to the ways of Light have led their race down a strange hard path. During the Transdimensional War, the races of the Galaxy learned to their horror that even their most advanced weapons had little effect on the DarkOne's Mor-Ka that poured out of portals and devoured all life. The forces of the Galactic Patrol reeled back from defeat after defeat until the Dark Bane legions of the Genar arrived and threw their might against the darkness of the Mor-Ka. These special Genar units would hurl themselves into hand-to-hand combat with the hordes of Mor-Ka, during which blasts of searing Light would consume in most cases both the Mor-Ka as well as the Genar warrior. Rumors from that time state that the Genar warriors of these special units could tap into some vast powerful source of Light, and acting as portals for this energy, banish any Mor-Ka in contact with them. Those Genar that passed through this terrible combat unharmed became known as Survivors. All high posts in the Genar military and political structure can be held only by Survivors. The average Genar warrior is a huge upright tiger-like being that can stand as high as 3.7 meters in height, and mass as much as 410 kilos. The society of the Genar is based on an EXTREMELY rigid code of honor and calls for absolute service to the Light. The leader of the Genar is the immortal being known as Kray Khan, wielder of the Omega Sword and protector of the Light. Since the time of the Transdimensional War, the primary enemy of the Genar has been the Malbane. The Genar banish Mor-Ka hordes as a service to the Light, but their hatred of the Malbane knows no bounds and lies at the very core of their being. The society of the Genar is very strongly group motivated and the mixture of their warrior ways with their fanatical religious beliefs makes them one of the most dangerous Empires in the current Galaxy. It is rumored that the mysterious Que'Lin are their mentors. If this were to be true, it would explain much concerning the development of Genar society, as well as many otherwise unexplainable incidents throughout their long and bloody history. Like the Brak-Tue, if the Genar ever learned of certain business practices of the Realm, they would seek the destruction of the Realm and all its works. Thus, the Genar must be considered an Alpha+ class security risk to the Realm of Stars and must be kept under constant surveillance.
